Terms and Conditions

Welcome to The Barn at Willow Spring’s official website. By accessing or using our Site, booking our venue, or engaging with our services in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services. 

 

1. Definitions 

  • "Venue" refers to The Barn at Willow Spring, located at 5421 Triple Z Drive Dayton VA 22821. 

  • "Client" refers to any individual or entity who accesses the Site, submits a booking request, or enters into a rental agreement with the Venue. 

  • "Event" means the wedding or related celebration taking place at the Venue. 

  • "Agreement" refers to the legally binding contract entered into between the Client and the Venue. 

 

2. Booking & Payment Terms 

  • All bookings are subject to availability and require a signed rental agreement. 

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure the date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the Event. 

  • Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, check, or cash. 

  • Failure to make timely payments may result in cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit. 

 

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy 

  • Cancellations made more than 90 days before the Event will receive a refund of payments made, excluding the non-refundable deposit. 

  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before the Event will not be eligible for a refund. 

  • The Venue reserves the right to cancel any booking due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund will be issued. 

 

4. Use of the Venue 

  • The Client is responsible for any damage caused by guests, vendors, or themselves during the Event. 

  • The Event must end by 12 PM Saturday, and cleanup must be completed by 11 AM Sunday. 

  • Decorations must be approved by the Venue. No nails, staples, or adhesives may be used on walls or furniture without written consent. 

  • Smoking is not permitted inside the Venue. 

 

5. Vendors and Insurance 

  • All third-party vendors must be pre-approved by the Venue. 

  • Proof of liability insurance may be required from vendors and/or the Client. 

  • The Venue is not responsible for the services or conduct of external vendors. 

 

6. Limitation of Liability 

  • The Venue is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property occurring at the Event. 

  • The Client assumes all risks associated with the Event and agrees to hold the Venue harmless against any claims arising from the Event. 

 

7. Website Use 

  • All content on this Site is owned or licensed by The Barn at Willow Spring. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any materials without prior written permission. 

  • You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful or prohibited purpose. 

 

8. Privacy 

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information. 

 

9. Governing Law 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Harrisonburg, VA. 

 

10. Changes to Terms 

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
